Your Journey with Us: Understanding Our Tiers
At Sacred Hearts, we believe in supporting your growth every step of the way. Our tiered approach provides a framework for building a strong foundation in recovery and gradually increasing independence. To make Sacred Hearts your home, here's what's expected at each stage:
Tier One (30 Day Tier)
This initial phase focuses on establishing essential habits and connections:
- Community Engagement: Active participation in the recovery community is expected, including attending 90 meetings within the first 90 days (90-90).
- Sponsorship and Support: Residents are expected to obtain a sponsor and actively participate in a homegroup.
- Foundation for Recovery: Initiation of work on the Twelve Steps is a key component.
- Community Meetings: Attendance at all scheduled community meetings is expected.
- Daily Structure: A curfew of 9:00 PM on weekdays and 9:30 PM on weekends is in place.
- Employment: Securing and maintaining employment is expected, and work schedules must be provided to management.
- Financial Standing: Maintaining current weekly rent is a prerequisite for advancement to the next tier.
Tier Two (60 Day Tier)
Having established a foundation, residents experience increased opportunities for growth and independence:
- Continued Participation: If 90-90 requirements are met, a minimum of 5 meetings per week and 3 community meetings per month are expected.
- Increased Freedom: Curfew is extended to 9:30 PM on weekdays and 10:00 PM on weekends.
- Independent Time: Residents are eligible for pre-approved 24-hour passes with a minimum 72-hour advance request to house management.
- Continued Commitment: Maintaining employment, an active sponsor, homegroup participation, and current weekly rent are essential for continued eligibility for this tier and its privileges.
Tier Three (90 Day Tier)
This tier provides further opportunities for growth and autonomy:
- Continued Engagement: A minimum of 5 meetings per week and 2 community meetings per month are expected.
- Extended Hours: Curfew is extended to 10:00 PM on weekdays and 10:30 PM on weekends.
- Increased Flexibility: Residents are eligible for two 24-hour passes per month, which may be combined with management approval for special circumstances.
- Continued Commitment: Maintaining employment, an active sponsor, homegroup participation, and current weekly rent are essential for continued eligibility for this tier and its privileges.
Tier Four (6 Months - Graduation)
This final stage prepares residents for independent living:
- Continued Connection: A minimum of 3 meetings per week and 1 community meeting per month are expected.
- Greater Independence: Curfew is extended to 10:30 PM on weekdays and 11:00 PM on weekends.
- Preparation for Transition: Residents are eligible for one 48-hour pass per month.
- Ongoing Support: Residents remain in this tier until successful discharge. Maintaining employment, an active sponsor, homegroup participation, and current weekly rent are essential for continued eligibility for this tier and its privileges.
